EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE ARRIVING fOR OUR WEDDING

01.

What is the closest airport?

Athens International Airport (ATH) and Kalamata International Airport.

02.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

The temperature in Aigio in early summer is pleasantly warm without the intensity of the summer months. The average temperature in Aigio in June is 28 °C, so pack lightly and do not forget your swimsuits!

03.

Will I need a rental car?

We highly recommend getting a rental car, as this is the easiest way of getting to the venue and exploring the local area. There are train and bus services into the Peloponnese, and local taxis in the area, although drivers may not speak English.

04.

Will I need an international drivers license?

If you have a Canadian, American, or Australian driver’s license you will need to get an international driver’s license to rent a vehicle in Greece. Your local driving registry office should be able to provide one for a small fee. For more information, see https://internationaldrivingpermit.org/how-to-apply/. If you have an EU or UK driver’s license, you will not need an international driver’s license, as these are accepted by rental agencies in Greece.

05.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both Ceremony and Reception will be Outdoors

06.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the cocktail area where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

07.

What is the dress code?

Greece in the summer is very hot, so please dress for the heat. The dress code for Friday night is smart casual. The dress code for Saturday is smart/summer suits.

08.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive an hour or 30 min before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

09.

Where should I stay?

We recommend staying on-site, as there are limited alternative options in the area. We have booked out the Semantron hotel (52 rooms) for the Friday and Saturday night and you can book directly from the booking link available on the website. If you’d prefer to stay elsewhere there are a few small hotels in the neighbouring villages and a small number of Airbnb’s within a 15-20 minute drive of the venue.

10.

Can I park at the venue?

Yes, parking is free-of-charge at the Semantron.

11.

When is the RSVP deadline?

We’d be grateful if you could RSVP by May 4th at the latest.
